I have finally managed to get my paws on the photographs me and Hannah took on Monday. I have to say, it was a lot of fun.
We started out by getting an action and a place. One person directed the other posed.
Here is my favourite hug the corner ones of Hannah.
Flapping like a flamingo |
With my bad luck I picked up shimmy the lamp (which I failed at posing) and flap like a flamingo attempting to fly in the corner (which I failed at a little less).
This was my first go with the camera. It was fun but I found that I am not a natural when taking photographs. In this I seem to be excessively unflattering towards Hannah, which doesn't seem fair at all.
We also wore oversized t-shirts in weird ways. I directed Hannah to wear hers like a monster.
She had me wear mine a bit like an odd dress.
We proceeded to have two to a top, which was also good fun.
The tops were fantastic fun. I really liked manipulating out bodies so we became monsters.
Another fun experiment was wearing our chairs.
My idea seems to have turned me into a sumo wrestler, but it could be worse.
This is the same concept except we had to interact with the person next to us.
In this one we all interacted, creating a scene that looks like it could have been practise Dante's inferno.
We also played dress up and took photos. Religious imagery seemed to be the unspoken theme. Hannah directed and dressed me up.
This is a selection of two of the ways.
I dressed her up too.
I really enjoyed the lack of humanity in the photographs, but how a character carries over.
Overall I loved the conceptual way we too photos, about how it was based on crazy ideas over a perfect image of a plant pot.
