Masking attempts

This is a wee bit of a disaster, but I wish to make a record.

I tried mod rocking a mask to my face, but the doorbell rung, and in an attempt not to frighten the coal man out of his wits I had to remove the mask. Unfortunately it was not dry and resulted in a flopping mess.

I hope to try again with someone else in the house who can answer doors.

I then made a clay mix and pressed my face into it to make a counter mould. I think I did something wrong, because I left it too near through stove and it rose.

These were my failures of the day, both cracked and disintegrated when lifted so now reside permanently in the bin. I hope they are happy there and I will try again in creating molds, and hope I wont be so ridiculously thwarted.
