Different transparent ways of doing things.

This Friday we started with a example of an idea, draw with glue so your drawing is transparent. This  may seem pointless, but you can see the drawing if you look hard. In a way, the drawing is opaque because it is so hard to see.

This is my attempt.

Its a glass head, incase you were wondering. I did it in string too,so you can see, white to go with the transparent theme.

Then we tried drawing with words, as in writing what we saw. I tried this too describing a person I was looking at. I used watered down ink to continue the transparent theme. I would keep seeing new details.

I then got on with an idea I had about creating a burqua- ish head dress. But transparent.

Here it is.

Its funny, because it looks kind of like a wedding veil. It also slightly obscures the view of the wearer. Its also interesting that the eyes, the window to the soul, are most obscured.

I tried it on a glass head,just because  double transparency.

I may try creating a series in different materials and see what I can do.
