Heads and other body parts

In a sort of continuation from the bag head project, we made body parts out of objects. This could be body parts in the most abstract sense, such as a car body. These are what I came up with:

 

 

 

They are:

1.Machiery- The circuit boards and all that being the internal organs of a mechanism

2.An arm- That is a body part I believe, and I like how the pepper grinders middle reminds me of bones.

3.A bear face- Because the bits and bobs I had made me think of one. I guess its a dismembered bear head, so its an isolated body part.

4.A cyborg arm pointing (its judging me, I can feel it)- another arm, except looking at the simple shapes such as the shoulder that can be found on an arm.

5.Weird face and spine- It lost the rest of its body in a gory accident in Stalin's Russia I'm sure.

6.A head and body- Looking at the way the organic material could be combined with the metal to create a person was interesting, reminds me of prosthetics. Although if you have a metal head, you are most likely dead.

7.Body other way around- I think this one with the same materials works better than 6 because legs are not visible, so there are less out of proportion shenanigans. Also the nail nose is cute.

8.A shoulder bone, and you can see a hint of a lung and the start of a heart- Not my most successful, I think my lack of knowledge of the insides of a person shines thorough, and the buttons work oddly.

9.An r becoming an n- Because as it turns out, the different shapes that make up letters have names that relate to the human body, such as the spine.

10. Another face- Just too tempting, I think I am still stuck on bag heads.

11.A morbidly obese bear- Looking at the body as the main part of an animal, we are too much in the habit of exaggerating heads these days in cartoons and such like, were as the body holds a lot of important stuff. I wouldn't want a sleeping beauty style body as I don't think I would be able to stand up.

12.A neck and start of the shoulders- Narrow shoulders for that matter. Part of the body again. I forgot the collar bone.

13.A cat head and start of body- Believe it or not, I am leaning towards not.

Anyway, that is what I created to start my project off. I am then going to explore skeletons and internal organs on humans to correct my fatal knowledge on the human body. I have already started slicing up pictures. It will be fun.
